Job Title: Water Treatment Technician
Purpose of Job:
A site-based technician to oversee and manage, as a Competent Service Provider, all tasks associated with the Water Management Systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Directly accountable to the Contact Manager. This post carries no direct budgetary responsibility, but financial awareness is required.
Person Specification:
Education: A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic mathematical skills.
Training: Formally trained in Water Management systems (Apprentice time served, City and Guilds or equivalent), L8 trained.
Experience (Essential): Experience of maintaining and carrying out water maintenance; general all-round knowledge of Water systems.
Desirable: Proven experience in energy saving and plant efficiency; able to provide effective written reports; able to provide cost comparisons for capital replacement costs versus energy savings.
Aptitudes: Ability to supervise and motivate colleagues/contractors to deliver work to an excellent standard.
Character: Committed to delivering excellent customer service; calm manner, able to work under pressure; able to work alone; able to make sound decisions when needed; physically fit; able to ascend and descend vertical access equipment; able to work at heights and on roofs; a team player, able to work with BGIS and client’s staff of all levels.
Circumstances: Overtime working may be required.
