CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a Mechanical / Water Treatment Engineer for a large Government site in Westminster. The role focuses on maintenance of domestic and closed water systems, plumbing, and building services on day shifts.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, work safely to codes of practice, and support electrical and fabric systems. A City & Guilds/NVQ in plumbing/mechanical engineering is required.

Formación

• L8 qualification with City and Guilds or NVQ in plumbing/mechanical engineering.
• Full clean driving licence and ability to gain CTC clearance.
• Experience with water treatment, mechanical systems and building services.

Responsabilidades

• Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems including domestic and closed water systems, plumbing, air conditioning, and pressure systems
• Provide first-line response to reactive call-outs, ensuring safety and codes of practice
• Assist with building fabric and electrical systems maintenance
• Collaborate with engineering supervisor and subcontractors to deliver high-quality service

An exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Service provider situated in Westminster has arisen! CBW are currently recruiting for a Mechanical / Water Treatment Engineer to look after a large Government site in Westminster. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in Mechanical Engineering & Water Treatment ideally currently working in a similar position. This is a great opportunity for a candidate looking to join a large organisation so they can expand their knowledge and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems including domestic and closed water systems, plumbing, air conditioning, and pressure systems
• Provide first-line response to reactive call-outs, ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with approved codes of practice
• Assist with building fabric and electrical systems maintenance as required
• Collaborate with engineering supervisor and specialist subcontractors to deliver high-quality service

Hours of Work

• 4 on 4 off - Days Only
• 7am to 7pm

Requirements

• L8 qualified with City and Guilds or equivalent NVQ in plumbing and mechanical engineering
• Practical with good common sense and ability to work well with diverse teams
• Full clean driving licence plus current or ability to gain CTC clearance
• Able to act on own initiative and deliver work to high standards safely
