Job summary
Veolia UK is seeking a Field Service Engineer to commission and maintain water treatment equipment at a fixed customer site, coordinating with the Area Field Services Lead and senior engineers. You will be responsible for installation, calibration, and maintenance of RO, deionisation, and filtration systems.
You will work on-site at a customer location, supporting the site with technical advice, inspections, and timely reporting.
Qualifications
- Qualification in science, engineering, or equivalent knowledge.
- A Level Chemistry or equivalent knowledge.
- Electrical or PLC training.
- Passport to Safety and CSCS card.
- Experience on water treatment sites or industrial sites.
- Familiarity with maintenance tracking tools.
Responsibilities
- Install and service chemical feed and water treatment equipment.
- Act as local technical consultant and liaison with customer management on site.
- Provide service and support to the prescribed customer site.
- Coordinate with the Area Field Services Lead and Senior FSEs.
- Perform water analysis and collect samples for lab shipment.
- Complete and distribute on-site reports for work carried out.
- Troubleshoot and repair pumps, instruments and control panels.
- Calibrate flow instruments, conductivity sensors and pH sensors.
- Maintain site maintenance records and spare parts inventory.
- Relay customer feedback to Field Services, Commercial and Technical teams.
