Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment seeks a Field Service Engineer to service water treatment systems across the UK, with time away from home and a home-based base in the South West. You may commission installed systems and travel abroad occasionally, covering the South West region.

Responsibilities include servicing RO, deionisers, filters, water softeners, and effluent plants; managing customer relationships; and completing service reports with MS Word. Travel and a proactive approach are required.

Qualifications

• Multidisciplinary electro-mechanical engineer with relevant qualifications.
• Experience in water treatment is advantageous.
• Experience as a service engineer or field-based support is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining water treatment systems at customer sites across the UK.
• Managing direct relationships with customers and plant operatives.
• Analysing and resolving problems on site and via remote support.
• Installing and commissioning plant where qualified.
• Completing service reports and documentation using MS Word.
• Travel across the UK and potentially abroad as required.
• Support service improvements to increase productivity and profitability.
