Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is seeking a Water Treatment Equipment Engineer to cover nationwide contracts across healthcare, commercial, industrial and manufacturing sites. Candidates with electrical or mechanical backgrounds and knowledge of ACOP L8/HSG 274 will thrive, with opportunities for training and development.

The role involves attending client sites for installation, servicing, and repairs of RO systems, water softeners, UV filtration and demineralisation units, plus quoting, RAMS

Qualifications

• Experience as Water Treatment Equipment Engineer or similar.
• Electrical or mechanical training/qualifications preferred.
• Familiarity with ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.
• Good communication skills and clear reporting.
• Strong literacy and numeracy abilities.

Responsibilities

• Visit client sites to install, service and repair water treatment equipment (ROs, water softeners, UV filtration, demineralisation).
• Decommission equipment/systems when required.
• Diagnose faults and recommend repairs/replacements.
• Calibrate equipment to specification.
• Prepare quotes for works.
• Create RAMS for projects.
• Produce regular technical reports.
• Work across healthcare, commercial, industrial and manufacturing premises.

Location: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear

Salary/Benefits: 30k - 45k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting for a Water Treatment Equipment Engineer, to cover nationwide commercial, pharmaceutical and industrial contracts. Ideally candidates will hold an electrical / mechanical background and must be well-versed in industry technical guidelines. You will be joining a respected and industry-leading name within the Water Treatment industry, who have a busy and growing client base.
