Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is seeking a knowledgeable Water Treatment Equipment Engineer to join a respected provider in the Leeds area. The role covers installation, commissioning and servicing of water treatment systems across a diverse client base.

You will travel to sites, identify faults, perform repairs and preventative servicing, calibrate equipment and produce detailed service reports. A company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• Strong experience working as a Water Treatment Equipment Engineer.
• Flexible to travel in line with company needs.
• Ideally will have some experience / qualifications within electrical / mechanical fields.
• Excellent technical knowledge, including: ACOP L8 and HSG 274 legislation.
• Confident working independently on site.
• Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Installing and commissioning water softeners, CDI, reverse osmosis, UV filtration and demineralisation units.
• Identifying faults on systems / components and making recommendations for repairs.
• Carrying out preventative servicing on systems.
• Performing repairs / replacements where necessary.
• Calibrating equipment.
• Upselling services to clients.
• Producing detailed service reports.
• Providing updates and technical advice to clients.
• Working across a varied portfolio of client sites, including: industrial, commercial, manufacturing and public sector.
