Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is seeking a Water Treatment Equipment Engineer to service and install water treatment systems across the North East. The role covers Middlesbrough and surrounding towns, with a flexible travel requirement to cover northern commercial, industrial and healthcare contracts.

You should have hands-on experience and knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines; plumbing/electrics qualifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as a Water Treatment Equipment Engineer.
• Excellent working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines.
• It would be advantageous to hold qualifications in: plumbing and / or electrics.
• Strong eye for detail.
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• Flexible attitude.

Responsibilities

• Installing and commissioning on various water treatment systems and components, including: reverse osmosis, water softeners, UV filtration and deionisation units.
• Performing routine servicing and maintenance on existing systems.
• Highlighting any faults and repairing as neccessary.
• Upselling replacements / company services.
• Ordering materials / parts as required.
• Producing quotations.
• Completing regular service reports.
• Providing technical advice and project updates to clients.
