Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is seeking a Water Treatment Equipment Engineer to cover nationwide commercial, pharmaceutical and industrial contracts, based in Sunderland. The role requires an electrical/mechanical background and knowledge of ACOP L8 & HSG 274, with training and development on offer.

The candidate will service, install, and repair RO systems, water softeners, UV filtration and demineralisation units at diverse sites, including healthcare and manufacturing premises.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Water Treatment Equipment Engineer.
• Ideally will hold electrical / mechanical training / qualifications.
• Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines.
• Adaptable to client travel needs.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skill level.

Responsibilities

• Attending client sites to conduct installations, servicing and repairs on water treatment equipment, including: ROs, water softeners, UV filtration and demineralisation units
• Decommissioning equipment / systems
• Diagnosing faults and making recommendations for repairs / replacements
• Calibrating equipment
• Quoting for works
• Creating RAMS
• Producing regular technical reports
• Working across a range of healthcare, commercial, industrial and manufacturing premises
