Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Water Treatment Engineer who will also manage key client accounts in the Dartford area. The role combines technical duties with proactive business development, offering a £32k–£45k salary plus training and benefits.

You will play a pivotal part in servicing existing clients while identifying new opportunities, with travel as required. The ideal candidate will bring experience in water treatment, familiarity with ACOP L8 and HSG 274, strong

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as a Water Treatment Engineer.
• Confident in managing key client accounts.
• Solid knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with IT software.
• Ideally with proven sales experience and success.
• Flexible to travel as required by the company.

Responsibilities

• Attend client sites to perform pre-planned Water Treatment duties.
• Conduct closed system sampling, analysis and dosing.
• Carry out cooling tower cleans and disinfects.
• Perform system chlorinations.
• Conduct calorifier inspections and blowdowns.
• Manage key client accounts and be the main contact for queries.
• On-board new engineers.
• Upsell additional company services to existing clients.
• Identify potential client leads and opportunities.
• Upgrade and renew existing client accounts.
• Promote company services to new clients.
• Visit sites to scope for new projects.
• Support quotations for new works.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

To aid their continued growth, they are seeking a hands‑on Water Treatment Engineer, who has experience with managing key client accounts.
