Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is seeking a proactive Water Treatment Business Development Manager for Milton Keynes to drive growth, identify opportunities and convert leads into client accounts.

The role requires robust knowledge of water treatment, ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines, and strong sales ability. A company vehicle and competitive commission scheme are on offer to succeed in this position.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in water treatment business development or equivalent.
• Industry qualifications or training preferred.
• Fully conversant with ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills.
• Experience with testing kits, cooling towers, steam boilers and closed systems.
• Confidently selling directly to clients and managing accounts.
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Grow water treatment and related client accounts including cooling towers and closed systems.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with prospective clients.
• Follow up on warm leads and convert them into contracts.
• Contact prospective clients through multiple channels, including cold calling.
• Promote company services to new clients and upsell existing accounts.
• Assist with bids ensuring tenders are accurate and competitive.
• Manage incoming client enquiries and visit sites to scope new contracts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new clients and directors.
