Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Water Technician to join the team at our London site. The role covers all aspects of water treatment maintenance across cooling towers and closed systems within the building.

You will create logbooks, ensure compliance with water legislation per HSG274, and oversee service visits with the nominated water treatment company. Practical inspection, sampling, descaling, and routine maintenance are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in water treatment maintenance for cooling towers and closed systems.
• Ability to create and populate water treatment logbooks and maintain records.
• Familiarity with HSG274 and L8 water protection standards.

Job Description

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Water Technician to join the team located at 40 Leadenhall London. The successful candidate will perform all aspects of water treatment maintenance to both Cooling Towers and Closed Systems throughout the building.

Key Duties:

• Creating and populating all water treatment logbooks.
• To act as CBRE responsible person making sure we comply with all water legislation in line with HSG274.
• Daily, weekly, and Monthly inspection and testing of Cooling Towers.
• To work closely with our nominated water treatment company, overseeing service visits and sampling of both Cooling Towers and Closed Systems.
• Carryout Statuary and Mandatory servicing to water plant including TMVs.
• 1 st Revue of water treatment laboratory results, Micro and Chems.
• Descaling of all Taps and Showers.
• Servicing and sampling of Domestic Water services including Calorifiers.
• Cooling Tower Dip slides.
• Water Tank Inspections.
• Overseeing Clean and Chlorination of Cooling Towers and Soft Water Tanks.
• Inspection and Maintenance of associated water plant ie RO and Softener.
