We're looking for a Water Technician to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks - South West Water team based in Exeter.

Location: Exeter, with travel across the picturesque, coastal Southwest region. A company vehicle will be provided.

Contract: Permanent – Full time

Our division focuses on bringing the built environment to life by maintaining reliable and high-quality drinking water and wastewater services, working on repairs and maintenance for the Southwest Water contract.

Responsibilities

• Support schemes including mains laying, pressure management, district metering, and large mains repairs.
• Work within a team that values collaboration and safety, ensuring high health and safety standards.
• Perform manual tasks such as site setup, excavation, and installation of water fittings.
• Undertake planned or reactive work on water services and large diameter mains.
• Maintain productivity within set timescales and targets.
• Update relevant documentation using a tablet.
• Participate in a rapid response team to restore and deliver clean water.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in utilities.
• Valid Full Driver's Licence.
• Willingness to learn new skills; comprehensive training provided.
