Job summary

HomeServe UK is seeking a Water Supply Pipe Engineer to carry out repairs and maintenance in customers' homes, with a focus on water mains work and high service standards.

You will diagnose leaks, lay and replace pipework, manage jobs on site, and represent HomeServe with professionalism. A full UK driving licence is required; this is a field-based role with training and opportunities for overtime and progression.

Join HomeServe as a Water Supply Pipe Engineer and play a vital role in keeping our customers’ homes running smoothly.

• Salary: £37,220 - £41,810 (depending on experience) + £1,500 guaranteed bonus in your first year
• Hours: You will average 40 hours per week (including evenings, weekends and bank holidays)

What you’ll be doing

As a Water Supply Pipe Engineer, you’ll work in customer’s homes carrying out repairs and maintenance on water supply systems.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Diagnosing and repairing leaks on water mains
• Laying and replacing pipework
• Excavation and reinstatement work where required
• Managing jobs independently while delivering excellent customer service
• Representing HomeServe in customers’ homes with professionalism and care

This is a field-based role where no two days are the same, giving you variety and autonomy in your work.

We’ll set you up for success from day one with a structured onboarding programme:

• Week 1: Classroom-based induction Monday to Friday at our Walsall Head Office
• Week 2: On-the-job training alongside an experienced HomeServe WSP Engineer

(Where required, we will pay for your accommodation and meal allowance for your induction).
