Job summary

HomeServe UK is seeking a Water Supply Pipe Engineer to repair and maintain water supply systems in customers' homes. This field-based role involves diagnosing leaks, laying and replacing pipework, and delivering excellent service.

You will average 40 hours per week, with shifts including evenings and weekends. Salary ranges £33,220–£37,810 plus a £1,500 guaranteed bonus in year one; you’ll receive tools, PPE, training, and pension support.

Qualifications

• Experience working on water mains especially repairs, installation or leak detection.
• Ability to work independently on site and solve problems.
• Full UK Driving Licence (max 6 penalty points).

• Salary:£33,220 - £37,810 (depending on experience) + £1,500 guaranteed bonus in your first year

What you’ll be doing

As a Water Supply Pipe Engineer, you’ll work in customer’s homes carrying out repairs and maintenance on water supply systems.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Diagnosing and repairing leaks on water mains
• Laying and replacing pipework
• Excavation and reinstatement work where required
• Managing jobs independently while delivering excellent customer service
• Representing HomeServe in customers’ homes with professionalism and care

This is a field-based role where no two days are the same, giving you variety and autonomy in your work.

Training & support

We’ll set you up for success from day one with a structured onboarding programme:

• Week 1: Classroom-based induction Monday to Friday at our Walsall Head Office
• Week 2: On-the-job training alongside an experienced HomeServe WSP Engineer

(Where required, we will pay for your accommodation and meal allowance for your induction).
