Job summary

TXM Recruit is seeking a Water Supply Engineer to join a leading UK energy company on a permanent, full-time basis. The role covers Chester and surrounding areas, attending customers' properties to identify leaks and repair water mains.

You will work outdoors in all weather, with a 40-hour week including some evenings and weekends. A signing bonus of £1,500 is available, and the company provides a van, fuel card and full van stock.

Qualifications

• Previous experience identifying leaks, repairing and laying water mains is essential.
• You must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather types.

Responsibilities

• Identify leaks on water supply pipes at customer sites.
• Excavate ground to fix pipes and restore ground after completion.

Job description

TXM Recruit are looking for a Water Supply Engineer to start working for one of the UK’s most recognisable and well-respected energy company’s.

Company Van, Fuel Card and full van stock provided.

Full Time - 40 hours a week - this includes some weekend, evening and bank holiday work

Up to 37,810 (Salary dependent upon experience) + £1,500 signing on bonus!

In a permanent role covering a patch of works in Chester and surrounding areas you will be required to be attending customer’s properties, identifying leaks on the water supply pipes, excavating ground to fix pipes and making the ground good once complete.

Previous experience of identifying leaks, repairing and laying water mains is essential; Due to the role you must be comfortable working outdoor in all-weather types.
