Job summary

TXM Recruit are looking for a Water Supply Engineer to join a recognised UK energy company, covering Gloucester and surrounding areas. You will visit customer properties to identify leaks on water supply pipes, excavate ground to fix pipes, and restore ground once complete. Outdoor work in all weather conditions is required.

Previous water company experience is preferred but not essential. This is a full-time role (40 hours) with some weekend, evening and bank holiday work; company van, fuel

Qualifications

• Previous experience of identifying leaks, repairing and laying water mains is essential.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ideally candidates who have worked for water companies previously are preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Attend customers' properties to identify leaks on water supply pipes.
• Excavate ground to fix pipes and restore ground after completion.
• Perform repairs and laying of water mains as required.
• Work outdoors across Gloucester and surrounding areas, including weekends/evenings/bank holidays as needed.

TXM Recruit are looking for a Water Supply Engineer to start working for one of the UK’s most recognisable and well-respected energy company’s.

Company Van, Fuel Card and full van stock provided.

Full Time - 40 hours a week - this includes some weekend, evening and bank holiday work

Up to 37,810 (Salary dependent upon experience) + £1,500 signing on bonus!In a permanent role covering a patch of works in Gloucester and surrounding areas you will be required to be attending customer’s properties, identifying leaks on the water supply pipes, excavating ground to fix pipes and making the ground good once complete.

Previous experience of identifying leaks, repairing and laying water mains is essential; Due to the role you must be comfortable working outdoor in all-weather types.

Ideally candidates who have worked for water companies previously are preferred but not essential.
