Job summary

Northumbrian Water Group is seeking a Sampling Supervisor to lead a team of Sampling Technicians within the Laboratory and Sampling department. You will report to the Sampling Manager and oversee program delivery across the Northumbria region.

You will ensure DWI and Environment Agency sampling aligns with regulatory requirements and UKAS accreditation, while planning rotas and workloads to meet changing priorities and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a team of technicians in a laboratory or field setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Sampling Technicians across the Northumbria region.
• Plan and manage rotas and workload, adapting to changing requirements.
• Ensure regulatory sampling programs (DWI, MCERTS) are collected in accordance with UKAS quality systems.
