Job summary

Dŵr Cymru Cyf is seeking a Water Operations Incident Coordinator to monitor multiple data sources and coordinate response resources to protect customer supplies and water quality. You will work with Response Pods, Distribution, and Standby teams to restore services efficiently.

Join a front-line team delivering real-time risk assessment, regulatory reporting, and customer communications during events, while upholding safety, quality, and public health standards.

Qualifications

• Front-line operational experience in water utilities or engineering.
• Strong IT and systems literacy.
• Ability to analyse large data sources and inform decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor data sources to identify issues on the Water network and coordinate resources.
• Coordinate response to urgent customer or third-party issues.
• Triage asset problems and mobilise response teams to restore supplies quickly.
• Provide technical information to analysts and shift managers for decision making.
• Produce and coordinate water quality response plans to prevent discolouration or odour.
