Job summary

South East Water is seeking a Duty Control Manager to lead one of six shifts, ensuring a continuous 24/7 service for customers and stakeholders. You will own real-time control room operations, coordinating with Retail organisations and field teams, managing incidents, and overseeing production site activities to align with asset plans and licences.

The role requires strong leadership, H&S compliance, and knowledge of DWI regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing a team.
• Knowledge of DWI Regulations and relevant legislation.
• First Aid trained or willing to achieve training in First Aid.
• Operational management experience at a senior level would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead one of six shift teams to ensure 24/7 service.
• Act as the out-of-hours interface with Retail organisations on water events and emergencies.
• Coordinate responses and communication through phone, website and intranet systems including Maximo.
• Ensure production sites operate to asset plans and comply with licences and storage targets.
• Develop and enhance PRISM reporting for site management insights.
• Deputise for Central Operations and Control Centre Manager when needed.
