Job summary

South East Water is seeking a Duty Control Manager to lead real-time control room operations and ensure a continuous 24/7 service to customers and stakeholders.

You will head one of six shifts, coordinating with Retail organisations and field teams, and ensuring clear communication through our channels and Maximo.

Additionally, you will oversee production sites to align with asset plans, protect licences, and optimise storage while contributing to site emergency plans.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team.
• Knowledge of DWI regulations.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation.
• First Aid trained or willing to complete training.
• Experience with operational management and health & safety.

Responsibilities

• One of six shift managers to ensure a 24/7 service for internal and external customers and stakeholders, including care during water supply events and emergencies.
• Coordinate responses and communicate with Retail organisations, via phone, website, intranet and Maximo.
• Ensure production sites operate to asset-planned efficiency, complying with abstraction licences and storage levels.
• Develop and improve PRISM reporting to provide accurate operational insights for site management.
• Deputise for Central Operations and Control Centre Manager when required.
• Deputise for Emergency and Security Manager and assist with site-specific emergency plans.
