Job summary

Join AECOM to help deliver reservoir and dam projects across the UK, supporting safety upgrades, hydropower and resilience schemes. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental or Water Resources Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree would be an advantage.
• Water-related modules or relevant work experience would be an advantage.
• Enthusiastic, hardworking and technically proficient.
• Strong research and analytical skills with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Undertake numerical analysis using specialist software for dams and reservoirs.
• Keep updated with regulatory legislation and guidelines affecting design work.
• Carry out research and apply theory to new situations to improve project delivery.
• Conduct feasibility studies considering technical performance, health and safety, cost and environment.
• Prepare designs, drawings, specifications and contracts.
• Write clear reports and prepare presentations for colleagues and regulators.
• Join site visits to support dam inspections and observe asset performance.
