Job summary

Anglian Water is recruiting a Field Technician (Water Recycling) to join our Cambridge-area team. You will operate high‑pressure water jetting and CCTV gear, investigate sewerage issues, and deliver timely maintenance while adhering to safety standards.

You’ll work on standby and occasional out‑of‑hours shifts, with training provided for required licences and equipment. A full driving licence is essential, and you’ll be part of a values‑driven team focused on environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• Hands-on/manual experience beneficial.
• Good IT literacy with handheld devices and digital systems.
• Ability to work autonomously and use initiative.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Full driving licence; 4.5 tonne licence advantageous (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Operate high‑pressure water jetting unit and CCTV equipment to identify repairs.
• Investigate and provide first-time resolutions for sewerage issues.
• Respond to incidents and complete planned maintenance work.
• Accurately record feedback from site in IT systems.
• Lone working with customers and colleagues daily.
