Affinity Water invites applications for a Sampler in Stevenage on a 9 Month FTC. You will spend time visiting water sites to collect samples and handle administration at the Stevenage site, with an emphasis on safe manual sampling and data entry using MS Excel.

The role includes weekend/out-of-hours standby and potential for progression within the water industry. A full UK driving licence and interest in the environment are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Full UK clean/manual driving licence required.
• 3 GCSEs with grade 4 (C) or above (Desirable).
• Proficient with MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Interest in environment and water industry.
• Ability to work independently and manage relationships with customers.

Aufgaben

• Visit water treatment works, reservoirs and sites to collect samples.
• Perform routine and ad-hoc water sampling across the area.
• Input data and record samples in internal systems; use MS Excel.
• Engage with customers to gain access to properties when sampling.
• Work with standby rota on weekends/out-of-hours.
