Responsibilities

• Senior Officer with water quality expertise to work on incident management to improve the water environment.
• Technical lead and mentor on water regulation issues within the team.
• Deal with incidents, contentious issues, queries and complaints as part of regulation work.
• As a Category 1 responder under the Civil Contingencies Act, respond to environmental incidents and support out-of-hours attendance.
