Wessex Water Services is seeking a part-time Supply Sampling assistant to support the regulatory sampling programme and customer property sampling across the Wessex Water region. You will travel outdoors, collect samples from WRUs and other sources, and help ensure regulatory compliance.

This role will require travelling across the picturesque Wessex Water region, taking responsibility for the sampling and cleaning of our water refill units (WRUs), along with taking regulatory samples from customer properties.
A company vehicle and all tools needed to carry out the role are provided. This position is offered at 24 hours per week. Salary will be paid on a pro-rata basis, reflecting the part-time hours.
We schedule and carry out the regulatory sampling programme for Water Refill Units located across various towns and cities within our supply area.
In addition, we provide sampling and analytical services to a range of customers, including customers, businesses, local authorities and environmental consultants.
This multifunctional role involves regulatory water sampling, along with various survey work, all of which comply with UKAS accreditation standards. The role offers a great opportunity to learn and develop your career in this exciting and challenging industry.
Your main duties will include taking representative water quality samples from the WRUs and a variety of other sources, including customer properties, in a professional and efficient manner.
