Job summary

YTL UK is recruiting for a part-time role in the SupplySampling team. The position involves sampling and cleaning WRUs, collecting regulatory samples from customer properties, and travel across the Wessex Water region with a company vehicle and tools provided.

You will perform outdoor sampling, maintain regulatory standards, and deliver a high-quality service while managing your workload and using GIS, Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint. A full driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• A levels in English, maths and science (or equivalent) as a minimum.
• Full clean manual driving licence is essential.
• Comfortable applying a range of sampling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Take representative water quality samples from Water Refill Units (WRUs) and other sources, including customer properties.
• Schedule and carry out regulatory sampling programme for WRUs across the region.
• Ensure compliance with UKAS accreditation standards and provide high-quality service to customers.

This role will require travelling across the picturesque Wessex Water region, taking responsibility for the sampling and cleaning of our water refill units (WRUs), along with taking regulatory samples from customer properties.

A company vehicle and all tools needed to carry out the role are provided.This position is offered at 24 hours per week. Salary will be paid on a pro-rata basis, reflecting the part-time hours.

What you'll do

We schedule and carry out theregulatorysamplingprogramme for Water Refill Units located across various towns and cities within our supply area.

In addition, we provide sampling and analytical services to a range of customers, including customers, businesses, local authorities and environmental consultants.

Your main duties will include taking representative water quality samples from the WRUs and a variety of other sources, including customer properties, in a professional and efficient manner.

You will also ensure we comply with industry regulations and provide our customers with a high-quality service.

What you'll need

Youwill:

A full clean manual driving licence is essential due to the nature of the work.
