You will be liaising with the property owners to give advice where possible and produce paper/electronic forms to correct any misconnections.

What you'll need

To succeed in this role, you will be a confident, self-motivated individual who is an effective team worker with excellent public liaison skills, as well as having a positive work ethic to see the job through until completion.

You will also have:

  • an understanding of sewerage networks and drainage
  • good IT knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel and Teams
  • the ability to think methodically and break down a problem into workable sections
  • GCSEs at grades C or 5 in English and maths
  • the ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
  • a can-do attitude and the willingness to get stuck in
  • the ability to work around sewage and lift manholes safely (full PPE will be provided)
  • experience with handling customer expectations and reactions.

Due to the travel requirements for this role, holding a valid driving licence is essential. A company vehicle will be provided.

What you'll receive
  • A combined pension contribution of up to 20%.
  • 25 days' holiday rising to 28 with length of service.
