United Utilities is seeking a Water Quality Analyst to triage water quality issues, interpret laboratory data, and coordinate timely customer responses. You will diagnose complex customer concerns, manage expectations, and support wider business processes to ensure regulatory compliance and public health protection.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C including Maths and English or equivalent.
• GCSE or higher in a scientific discipline is advantageous.
• Familiarity with SAP, INS, OMS and Aquavista is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint).
• Strong communication and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately diagnose complex customer issues using questioning and listening.
• Triages and prioritises water quality breaches per procedures.
• Interpret data from multiple systems to enable resolution.
• Coordinate with other areas to ensure timely customer resolution.
• Maintain expert knowledge of water procedures and processes.
• Monitor mailboxes and ensure timely responses.
