Job summary

AECOM in Basingstoke is seeking a Project Commercial Manager to enhance project commercial outcomes across water projects. You will support PMs, manage contract change, risk, and pricing, and drive commercial best practice to improve client satisfaction.

You will work with the Water team on major multi-year programmes, using tools like CEMAR/Asite, and mentor staff to build commercial capability while protecting margin and ensuring compliant reporting across frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience managing contract and risk within engineering/consultancy projects.
• Ability to analyse commercial performance and advise on mitigations.
• Familiarity with change management and contract administration processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist PMs, Project Directors and Lead Verifiers in the commercial management of projects.
• Apply knowledge of contracts, risk, change management, and programme impacts.
• Oversee client communications and instructions using contract platforms like CEMAR/Asite.
• Participate in project reviews and commercial discussions with clients and suppliers.
• Support development of back-to-back subcontract documentation and reporting.
