Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Project Commercial Manager to enhance commercial outcomes across water projects and frameworks. You will support project managers with contract and risk management, change control, and programme management to protect margins and client satisfaction.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager of Water, you’ll work across multiple projects, lead commercial reviews, prepare subcontract documentation, and mentor technical staff in commercial best practices while using CEMAR and Asite.

Qualifications

• Experience in consultancy or engineering construction contracts.
• Ability to mitigate risk, manage change, and improve project margin.
• Experience with contract administration platforms and commercial governance.

Responsibilities

• Assist PMs, Project Directors, and Lead Verifiers in commercial management of projects.
• Apply contract and risk management knowledge to enhance performance and compliance.
• Oversee client communications, change management, and insurance considerations.
• Oversee subcontract documentation to ensure back-to-back arrangements.
• Mentor technical staff to raise commercial awareness and capability.
• Deliver cost controls to reduce disallowed costs and optimize expenditure.
