Job summary

AECOM in Leeds is seeking a Project Commercial Manager to strengthen commercial outcomes across water projects. You will support PMs with contract administration, change management, risk handling, and programme control to protect margins and improve client satisfaction.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager of Water, you will use platforms such as CEMAR/Asite to manage communications, oversee subcontract documents, and coach technical staff to raise commercial awareness across multiple projects

Qualifications

• Experience in consultancy, engineering construction contracts, programme and change management.
• Ability to support PMs in commercial matters and uplift project managers.
• Familiarity with contract communications, risk management and commercial governance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMs, Project Directors and Lead Verifiers to ensure successful delivery.
• Provide expertise in contract and risk management to improve project performance and client satisfaction.
• Ensure quality by using contract administration platforms (CEMAR, Asite) and managing changes with commercial impact.
• Oversee project reviews, commercial discussions with clients and suppliers, and execution of action items.
• Mentor technical staff to heighten commercial awareness and capability.
• Deliver on reducing disallowed costs and managing expenditures across projects and subcontractors.
