ExcelCS part of the Ipsum Group is seeking a Project Manager – Water at our head office in Colwyn Bay, with UK travel and working away from home required. You will lead water utility delivery teams, ensuring safety, quality and on-time performance.

The role emphasizes translating project plans into executable daily activities, coordinating commissioning engineers and managing risks to support timely client outcomes. A background in water projects and strong delivery focus is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering water/utility projects.
• Strong leadership and coordination abilities.
• Knowledge of H&S and permit systems.

Responsabilités

• Day-to-day site management across water and utilities schemes.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers (1–2 teams, progressing to 4–5).
• Maintain compliance with H&S, RAMS, permits, and company procedures.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications to produce material take-offs.
• Measure completed works against the Schedule of Rates for valuations and reporting.
• Provide accurate progress information to support applications for payment.
• Liaise with clients, inspectors, and internal management.
• Monitor programme progress and report accurately.
• Maintain high standards of quality, housekeeping, and documentation.
