Job summary

Turnbull is seeking a Site Operations Lead to supervise a dedicated team focused on the maintenance and operation of water management zones, boreholes, pumps, surface water networks, and related assets at SZC. You will oversee daily activities, prioritise tasks, and ensure high standards of quality and safety on site.

The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years in construction and water industries, SMSTS and CSCS qualifications, and a proactive approach to improvements in productivity and cost

Qualifications

• Experience in Construction & Water industry, 5+ years.
• SMSTS qualification and CSCS required.
• Knowledge of water and waste treatment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily briefings to site team.
• Provide operations and maintenance for water zones and boreholes.
• Supervise team activities and third-party work ensuring H&S compliance.
• Monitor assets on schedule and escalate issues to the Operational Delivery Lead.
• Assist with recruitment drives and interviewing new talent.
• Engage with SZC stakeholders and other departments to resolve issues.
• Drive improvements in productivity and cost efficiency.
• Participate in 24/7 out-of-hours standby.
