Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an experienced MEICA Project Manager to lead complex MEICA schemes within the UK water sector from inception to handover. Based in Falmer, Brighton, you will manage multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.

You will ensure safety, programme and budget compliance, coordinate design, construction and commissioning, and maintain strong relationships with Southern Water, consultants and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering MEICA projects in water/wastewater infrastructure.
• Experience managing multiple projects of varying complexity and value.
• Degree or equivalent in an engineering or construction discipline preferred.
• Experience in NEC contracts and project management processes.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEICA projects from inception through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate design, construction, commercial and supply chain functions.
• Ensure safety, specification, programme and budget adherence.
• Manage NEC contract requirements and change control processes.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts and financial targets.
• Manage subcontractors and key suppliers, including procurement and resources.
• Coordinate MEICA design with civil interfaces and ensure quality standards.
• Prepare clear project reporting for senior management and clients.
