Job summary

Auger is seeking a Water Mains Engineer to join the team covering Norwich. The role involves independently inspecting and repairing external water supplies and communicating with the Field Operations Team to resolve on-site challenges.

Working hours are 42.5 per week, with a door-to-door pay model and overtime opportunities. The package includes a strong base salary, annual bonus, pension, and extensive benefits, plus leave and progression prospects.

Qualifications

• Experience with leak detection and repair of water mains.
• Ability to work independently on external water supply works.
• Strong communication with customers and field team.

Responsibilities

• Independently investigate and repair external water supplies.
• Logically establish ownership and liability based on leak location.
• Explain works to customers to provide peace of mind.
• Coordinate proactively with the Field Operations Team at HQ.
• Collaborate with other engineers as required.
