Job summary

Harmuns is seeking a Water Leak Detection Technician to join our expanding team, ideally based around Epping, Cheshunt, Brentwood or the surrounding areas. We offer full training and ongoing support to master specialist equipment and methods.

The role focuses on non-invasive detection across heating and water systems, producing professional reports and working independently to deliver high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in heating engineering and/or plumbing.
• Gas Safe registration preferred but not essential.
• A full UK driving licence is required.
• Own van and standard tools preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Locate and investigate hidden leaks using specialist detection equipment.
• Drain down central heating systems and introduce tracer gas where required.
• Access and repair pipework where appropriate.
• Investigate leaks across heating systems, hot and cold feeds, waste and mains pipework.
• Produce clear daily reports, including written findings and photographic evidence.
