Harmuns, a Windsor-based leak detection specialist, seeks a skilled Water Leak Detection Technician. The role covers locating, accessing, and repairing leaks across heating, hot and cold water, and mains systems using non-invasive tech.
You’ll produce professional reports with photos and work predominantly on-site across the South-East. Full training will be provided; a strong technical background in heating/plumbing is ideal.
Location: Ideally Epping (N.W. M25) Cheshunt, Brentwood (or nearby)
Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9am start (occasional weekend work available)
Harmuns is a 5-star-rated specialist in non-invasive water leak detection, based in Windsor, Berkshire. We work across London, the Home Counties and the South-East, helping homeowners identify and resolve leaks accurately, efficiently and with minimal disruption.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leak detection technician, heating engineer or plumber looking for a new challenge.
If you have a strong technical background and enjoy investigating problems, this role offers the chance to move away from heavy lifting, repetitive breakdown work and the physical demands often associated with traditional heating and plumbing roles.
You don't need previous leak detection experience. We'll provide full training and ongoing support to help you master our specialist equipment, techniques and processes.
You'll be responsible for locating, accessing and repairing water leaks across a range of systems, including central heating, hot and cold water supplies, waste pipework and mains water pipes.
Using modern, non-invasive technology, you'll investigate leaks, identify their likely source and carry out appropriate repairs wherever possible. You'll also produce clear, professional reports supported by photographs, helping customers understand your findings and the work completed.
This is a full-time role initially offered on an exclusive contractor basis, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent PAYE position with enhanced benefits, including a pension.
