Job summary

Dŵr Cymru Cyf is seeking casual Activity Centre staff at sites in and around Cardiff. You’ll assist with customer service, bookings, payments, and a range of on-site activities both land and water-based. You’ll help with safety briefings, equipment hire, and maintain facilities to a high standard.

You’ll work weekends, bank holidays, and seasonal peaks, with training provided and a strong emphasis on visitor safety and excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering helpful customer service to the public.
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills in English.
• Comfortable working both independently and in a team.
• Understanding of water safety is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, greet visitors, answer inquiries, and take payments.
• Assist in delivering land and water-based activities and safety briefings.
• Help hire activity equipment and support customers with equipment use.
• Set up and pack away on-site facilities, maintain equipment cleanliness and safety.
• Enforce site rules and support safety of staff and visitors.
• Collaborate with third-party groups and other departments to support events.
