Job summary

United Infrastructure is recruiting experienced Site Managers to oversee water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Sussex and Hampshire. You will lead site teams, subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring safe delivery on programme and within budget while upholding high quality standards.

Key requirements include SMSTS/CSCS Manager Card, CDM knowledge, first aid, and the ability to manage multiple crews and liaise with clients.

Qualifications

• Site Management experience within the water industry.
• SMSTS and CSCS Manager Card are required.
• First Aid at Work certification is essential.
• Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations is expected.
• Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour is required.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Lead site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.
• Ensure full HSQE compliance across projects.
• Carry out regular site inspections, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Coordinate labour, plant and materials to maintain project programmes.
• Monitor progress and provide updates to the Project Manager.
• Ensure all work meets specification and quality standards.
• Manage site documentation including RAMS, permits and daily records.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships.
• Identify and resolve site issues to minimise delays and protect programme.
• Support commercial performance through effective resource management.
