Job summary

Pinnacle Recruitment are seeking an experienced Site Agent to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering major water infrastructure projects across the Thames Valley region as part of the AMP8 programme. You will be responsible for the safe, efficient and successful delivery of water and wastewater schemes, coordinating site teams and ensuring compliance with NEC contracts.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills and a track record of delivering utilities

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Agent within civil engineering or utilities.
• Strong background delivering water or wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of water infrastructure projects from start to completion.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
• Lead site teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners.
• Produce and manage short-term programmes and site documentation.
• Monitor project progress and report on programme, commercial and operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with NEC contracts, specifications and client requirements.
• Manage health, safety, environmental and quality standards across all site activities.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and client representatives.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and temporary works.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Support the commercial team with cost control, change management and forecasting.
