Job summary

Matchtech seeks a Site Manager for a permanent position in Liss, overseeing water infrastructure site operations and coordinating construction activities to deliver projects safely, on time and to required quality.

The role requires strong site management skills within water, utilities or civil engineering, with a focus on health and safety, quality assurance and effective coordination of subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• SMSTS or equivalent health and safety qualification is required.
• Strong understanding of construction site management and project delivery.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and programmes.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality work safely and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations across water sector projects.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery.
• Ensure work aligns with approved designs, programmes and specifications.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
• Monitor progress, productivity and resource needs on site.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and client representatives.
• Identify and resolve site issues, risks and delays promptly.
• Complete site records and project documentation.
