Job summary

WGM Engineering, part of RSK Group, is seeking a Site Manager to join our Projects team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role is on-site at project sites within the central belt of Scotland, delivering essential water‑sector infrastructure across the UK.

You will own site‑based construction activity across multi‑discipline projects, coordinating electrical, mechanical, civil and construction works from planning through to commissioning.

Qualifications

• Experience in safety management controls for construction works in general site conditions.
• Background in Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Engineering.
• Valid UK Driving licence is essential.
• Confined space training to medium risk as a minimum.
• CSCS Card Holder.
• SMSTS 5 day course completion.
• First aid at work training.
• SW DOMS card for clean water applications.
• Temporary Works Coordinator/Supervisor certificate.
• Experience of MS Project and/or P6 Primavera planning software.
• Sound understanding of planned preventative maintenance.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proven IT skills including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Project delivery & commissioning on an ongoing basis.
• Continually develop and improve project communication and performance within the Projects and Construction teams.
• Manage internal direct reports for all EICA & Mechanical Construction teams, and oversee a multidisciplinary team of sub‑contractors.
• Demonstrate compliance with UK Specifications & Industry best practice.
• Work in accordance with all Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
