Job summary

Site Engineer role with a Civil Engineering specialist in Sussex focuses on wastewater infrastructure projects. You will set out, perform QA checks, and support the site team throughout construction. The position is long-term, 6+ months of work and potential for ongoing programmes in the region.

Candidates should have strong setting-out experience, the ability to read drawings, and a solid grounding in QA documentation, H&S, and working with subcontractors. CSCS is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Setting out works accurately in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Carrying out site measurements and dimensional control.
• Ensuring works are constructed to the required specification and tolerances.
• Completing quality checks and maintaining QA records.
• Reviewing drawings and specifications and identifying any issues.
• Supporting the Site Manager and wider project team.
• Liaising with subcontractors and site teams.
• Producing and maintaining as-built information.
• Assisting with inspections, testing and handover documentation.
• Ensuring health, safety and environmental requirements are followed.
