Job summary

Linear Recruitment is seeking a Site Agent to join a leading UK design and build contractor delivering major water infrastructure projects across the Thames Valley, including Aylesbury, Banbury and Reading.

You’ll lead site delivery from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring safety, programme, cost and quality targets are met while coordinating with design, commercial teams and clients.

Qualifications

• CSCS and SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
• HNC, Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and site delivery.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Confident communicator with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, subcontractors and project teams.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across sites within the Thames Valley region.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with design and commercial teams to improve project delivery, identify opportunities and manage project risks.
• Manage site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Oversee site procurement activities, subcontractor coordination and health & safety reporting.
• Maintain strong client relationships by providing regular project updates and addressing any issues.
• Act as Temporary Works Coordinator, ensuring temporary works are installed in accordance with approved designs and relevant standards.
