Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley in Scotland seeks an experienced Project Leader to contribute to water and wastewater schemes, guiding design from outline to handover and coordinating civil, electrical, mechanical and process designers, BIM modelers and specialists.

You will work within a project triangle with Site Manager and Quantity Surveyor, travel to sites across the region, and develop towards chartership while enjoying a strong benefits package and a commitment to flexible working.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering.
• Working towards professional qualification.
• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a 'project triangle' with a Site Manager and Quantity Surveyor to ensure technical, constructability and commercial delivery aspects are considered.
• Lead the design of treatment or infrastructure projects from outline to detailed design, through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate the project team including civil, electrical, mechanical and process designers, BIM modelers and technical specialists to deliver on programme, budget and quality.
• Undertake design in own discipline and mentor less experienced colleagues where appropriate.
• Build positive relationships with clients’ project, operational and technical assurance teams and promote a 'one-team' approach.
