Job summary

Pinnacle Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Planner to join a major UK water infrastructure contractor, based in Peterborough. You will develop, maintain and monitor programmes from pre‑construction to completion, coordinating with PMs, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure delivery to plan.

The role focuses on detailed scheduling for clean water and wastewater projects across the Anglian Water AMP8 framework, with opportunities to contribute to forecasts, milestones, and recovery

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Planner in construction, civil engineering or utilities.
• Experience in water and wastewater sector preferred.
• Strong knowledge of P6 Primavera or similar planning software.
• Understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing.
• Ability to communicate programme issues clearly to project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project programmes using P6 Primavera or similar planning software.
• Produce detailed construction programmes from tender through to project completion.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Teams and subcontractors to align deliverables.
• Provide regular progress updates and look‑ahead programmes.
• Assist with change management and extension-of-time assessments as required.
