Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Water team across Exeter, Bristol or Cardiff. The role involves delivering mechanical design services for water and wastewater infrastructure, working with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

You will contribute to feasibility through to construction support, preparing technical documentation and collaborating with clients, contractors and internal teams to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in mechanical engineering design within water or regulated infrastructure is preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical design activities from feasibility to construction support.
• Produce mechanical calculations, specs, schedules and design documentation.
• Assist with pumping stations, water/wastewater treatment works and pipelines.
