Job summary

Advance Training & Recruitment Services seeks a Principal Electrical Design Engineer (Water) in Croydon. Hybrid work arrangement with a focus on leading electrical design for major water and wastewater projects across the UK.

You will act as discipline lead, mentor engineers, and ensure designs meet client requirements, standards, and quality expectations while coordinating with clients and contractors for successful AMP programme delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Chartered, Incorporated or progressing towards accreditation.
• Extensive electrical design experience in water sector in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and technical delivery of water and wastewater projects.
• Act as discipline lead, ensuring designs meet client requirements and standards.
• Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Review and approve designs, calculations and documentation.
• Build relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
• Champion health & safety and sustainability in project delivery.
