Linear Recruitment is working with a well-established infrastructure client to recruit an experienced Design Manager to lead an in-house design team on water and wastewater projects across the UK. You will provide technical leadership, oversee CDM 2015 duties, coordinate civil and infrastructure design from concept to delivery, and mentor engineers, technicians and apprentices.

Formación

• Proven experience in a Design Manager or similar senior design role.
• Experience within water, wastewater, utilities or civil infrastructure.
• Knowledge and understanding of CDM 2015 and Principal Designer responsibilities.

Responsabilidades

• Directly manage and develop an in-house design team.
• Lead civil and infrastructure design activities from concept to delivery.
• Undertake Principal Designer duties under CDM 2015 and promote health and safety.
• Coordinate inputs from multiple design disciplines to ensure design integrity.
• Review design work for accuracy, compliance and quality.
• Manage design programmes, workloads and resources to meet client requirements.
• Support project managers and external design teams.
