Mott MacDonald is seeking a Civil Engineer with a strong background in hydraulic analysis and design to join our Water Consultancy team in the UK. You will contribute to a diverse portfolio of water infrastructure projects across the UK and internationally, delivering transmission pipelines, surge analysis, and water treatment facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in pressurised and open-channel hydraulics on civil/environmental projects.
• Experience in hydraulic calculations and design for water/wastewater facilities.
• Experience in hydraulic design of pressurised and gravity pipelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication to present technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hydraulic analysis and design for clean water and wastewater projects.
• Prepare calculations, specifications, drawings, and reports.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders and project teams to deliver projects.
• Identify and communicate technical, programme, quality and cost risks with mitigation measures.
• Work across multiple disciplines to develop integrated engineering solutions.
• Contribute to technical excellence, innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
• Take ownership of your professional development and engage with best practice.
